A heartwarming season recap video to thank all of the sea turtle hatchling rescue volunteers who gave their hearts in the summer of 2010 to rescue a record breaking and astonishing 8,850 sea turtle hatchlings in Broward County Florida from illegal lighting.
Many more were missed. The instinct to go towards light is so strong that the hatchlings pour onto city streets to their death, when the ocean is only a few feet from the nest where they hatched.
You can help by sending emails to the cities of Hillsboro, Deerfield, Pompano, Ft. Lauderdale and Hollywood to tell them to enforce current local lighting laws, Florida State Statue 379 and the Federal Endangered Species Act.
This is your wakeup call to help!

It would be really great if you had links to the offending municipalities making it easier to send emails. I live in NJ so that's all I can do to help and will search for the links.
