she may have been all that but she was also a trendsetter and true original who inspired a generation ... especially a generation of female musicians.

it's true. while sometimes she and the band often get lumped together with the other iconic female-led bands of that era....blondie,the pretenders....there was always something about them particularly that set them apart from everybody,even most men. they were just aeons more experimental and very willing to take on new territories in sound as well as lyrically. listening to their entire body of work,nobody else,and i mean no one,did what they did.

and in that,that's why i will never understand how they can revered by so many yet so under appreciated and under valued at the same time?? i mean when we talk about influential bands of our history,the banshees as well as sioux and budgie separately should be held in just as high esteem as the others,imo.

Thanks for posting this, all i own of the banshees is the Peel boot and the first two albums, saw the Hong Kong tour - missed this gem CHEERS
