    I count whatever polyrhythm i'm in at the moment.

    Since the bass in on 1 and 3, in 5 i make sure the first bass lines up with my 1, then the 2nd bass is between 3 and 4. When i'm in 6, again the 1 should line up and the 2nd bass should line up with my beat 4...etc

  • @MattMacKinnonDrums That's still tricky. squeezing those groups of numbers into a bar of 4, except the 8:4 which is simply double time. This is a bit easier if one plays against a click track while playing alternating sticking LRLRLRLR, but this is some serious metric or temporal modulation!
