On October 24, 2009, the International Day of Climate Action mobilized by 350.org, hundreds of people converged in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago to protest the area's dirty coal-fired power generating station. As a group of protesters locked arms to perform civil disobedience in the street outside the coal plant, and was arrested, more protesters gathered on the sidewalk to sing, shout, play music, and tell the world, "This dirty coal has got to go!"
