@afolksinger as a arsenal fan i look like that when we play them to haha very funny. at the moment i look like that when we play united as well.
-
Paul looked bottom handed and therefore played a lot across the line, while Martin played a perfect lofted on drive !

whilst watching Man utd vs Barcelona the other day, (at the point where utd were three one down and couldn't get the ball) i noticed in the background Alex Ferguson was on the touchline and really reminded me of Martin on 3:01 ...on this episode. Me and my brother Herbert found my observations most amusing.

@andthenwhatwhen Yeah I must say it does sound more like the C word than the word Coat.
-
@andthenwhatwhen Ahem....... "white umpire's COAT!" :)
-
andthenwhatwhen the joke about this sitcom was Martin (Richard Briers) played a uptight easily offended man and OCD - he was brilliant - plus of course he was always annoyed Paul Ryman was good at everything and felt threatened by him
-
@andthenwhatwhen he says 'What they will do is give me a ruling, and if it goes against you my fine feathered friend, you can say goodbye to your white umpire's coat'
I'm sorry, what did he say at 5:08?
I didn't realise 1980s sitcoms were so edgy.
