Benjamin Marauder .22 accuracy and penetration test

Rifle: Benjamin Marauder .22 by Crosman

Scope: CenterPoint 50X9-3 by Crosman

Projectile: JSB Exact Jumbo 1.03 / 16gr
Velocity: up to 900fps @290m/s

It is my first test with a new gun. The tests crude, I know my gun hardly yet. I present instrumental tests soon. Trying my opportunity on a bigger distance was not him yet. If the time will be right I do new tests.

how meny pumps if you had to guess to fill up the air would it be? also how meny shots will it shoot befor the fps with start to fall?

@xxwesdogxx Spring air rifles never compare to the PCP. PCP air rifle is a much better system. Stronger and quieter, more manageable. The spring technology is outdated and really only works well in small performance. Spring gun awkward to use. Lying position can not be reloading ...

Spring air guns can be accurate only with fixed barrel. This is just my opinion, you do not have to agree with him. I had the spring air rifle, and only bad experiences with him. (Gamo Hunter 1250 .177)

The marauder is, more accurate, silent, repeating 8 round bolt action, hits harder with its bigger caliber. your .177 springer will never hit 1200 fps and if it comes close it will be with paper light ammo. the energy of the mrod in .22 is over 30 ftlbs, the .177 springer you are talking about is lucky to make half that. we are comparing a rimfire to a centerfire in terms of killing power.
