Sponsor: http://FreeStateProject.org/LibertyForum - Syndicated talk show host Ian Freeman...on trial for refusing to make his tenants move a couch. But after he reacts too slowly to a judge's order to "have a seat" he ends up in a cage for three months. Note that my narration is in error...I originally reported he refused to sit but that is not the case; rather he simply sat too slowly. This video was shot 11/14/08 and first uploaded 11/14/08.

The story's almost on the front page of Digg but needs your help:

  • Some are arrested for sitting others for standing some for not moving a couch, some for wearing a hat---Honestly, what would our founding fathers say if they could look into the future and watch what is happening in this once great country.

  • revolt!

  • That guy wasn't a judge.

Proof: Judges don't lose their temper like a freakin' cop on a power trip.

  • he was in contempt not for sitting you idiot.Stop slandering false information you clark kent nerd wanna be. lol

  • @toetag88 more like "IDIOT STATE" i mean cant they come together and just revolt or burn his hous down or something that would end up terefing him to not leave home that way he would be fired or just try something untill they make his life a living hell.

  • With as much airplay and defiance that this particular place gives the judges, police, or anyone in a position of authority, why do you all think you are targets for the cops and get harsh sentences handed out to you? Oh, yeah, being retarded is going to change laws. Use your heads people!

  • POLICE STATE

  • what ur sayin is right, but your charging people to use the site? thought this is all about being free

  • he actually should not have sat. by sitting he is giving consent and a non verbal contract was initiated if im not mistaken. that contract puts him under the judges jurisdiction. once he is under THEIR jurisdiction their laws come into effect. if he stayed standing and stood his ground based on common law then those officers would have had to uphold the peace as he had broken no laws.
