Something a little different; I usually just do card tricks but today I'll show you a couple of "ring onto rope" illusions. The first one is simple, which just makes the second seem all the more impossible. I hope you like them. Please feel free to rate and comment :)

BTW I completely forgot to mention that this trick can be learnt in Mark Wilson's "Complete Course in Magic". Check it out. :)

  • 1st trick.oooooh ahhhh. pretty knot.

2nd trick, id like to see that done with a solid ring and not the one you were using.

    otherwise good job.

  • Yep, the first trick is just there to set up the second.

If you want to see second trick done with a solid ring, then just rewind and watch the video again!

As stated in the video; ALL the objects used in the trick can be examined (before and after) or even borrowed. No gaffs are used in the performance of this trick.

I'm glad you think that the ring is gaffed though, that just proves how powerful the illusion is! :)

  • WOW VERY COOL :D

you can do rope magic too xD!!

    keep it up ;)

  • Thanks for the positive comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the trick.

I am trying to branch out into other types of magic, but it's not often that I see a non card trick that has that "wow" factor. I will try to post more, as and when I learn them!

    Cheers :)
