This is a time-only movement in a Waterbury long-drop octagon wall clock with a 32 1/2 inch tall oak case.
The movement is marked "16" and has a strip deadbeat escapement. There is slight recoil on the locking faces, so this might be called a "semi-deadbeat" escapement. Notice that there are separate faces on the pallets for impulse and locking (as opposed to the "recoil" or "anchor" escapement in which each pallet has one face that does both impulse and locking).
