this is a time lapse of my suncircle that i pulled out of storage after 10 years and it works great. i'm attempting to blend my light spectrum evenly, simulate sunrise/sunset,and clouds passing.one 1000w hortilux super hps and one 1000w hortilux blue metal halide are on in the video and will be adding one more hps which will be a 1000w son agro red.the hps lamps turn on an hour and a half befor the metal halide, and off an hour and a half before they turn off, to simulate sunrise/sunset light spectums and to save a little on the electric bill w/ little to no negative effect on yield.the spinning of the suncircle distributes light spectrums evenly, allows me to place lamps closer for more intense light, and simulates clouds passing giving them a brief rest between lamps before they get blasted by intense light on the next pass. nexy crop i might replace an hps with a cfl with ultra violet bulbs and an LED fixtures as a potency and yield experiment. i'll be making my own fixture as the LEDs on the market do not conform to my situation.

  • u dont need to stimualte the clouds passing by.

  • i think the word you wanted was "simulate". i never said i needed to, if you read the description you would understand why i am. you don't need to leave comments either but you did...

  • have you done this before?how is the result?

  • i have used the cicrle before but not with this quality of bulbs.the circle always works great and covers a 12 by 12 foot area w/ a max 3000 w. i havent used it in over ten years and i,m beginning to wonder why i let it collect dust for so long ,i'm a huge advocate of light movers,i can get my 1000s inches from my tops w/o heat build up or burning leaves. i'm expecting one of my best harvest in years! 4-5 lbs+ from 3000w. 5-6 ounces from each plant and there are 14 plants in the room.

  • @Xare420 lol, not many people get it :] Sorry for the late response but it was needed :)

  • To bad your bulbs are not horizontal.

  • It would be interesting to see how it works.

  • genius

  • OMG SO MUCH WEED YOU LIVE IN HEAVEN

  • Its a Binary Solar System :)

  • @YouJustDontNoMe they will only start flowering once the light cycle is change to 12 on 12 off

  • Won't your plants misunderstand the light, and begin flowering?

  • and a grow box from bc northern lights, hold 18 plants hydro with c02, and 2 400 watt HID's and i get about 2 pounds. with only 2 weeks of veg starting from clones

  • thats about right. i put 16 plants under a 600 watts, and get 1 pound. i have 8 groups of 16 plants with a 600 watt HID, and i have 8 gruops, and get 8 pounds.

i use super metal halides for veg, and super hps from hortilux for flower. i use c02, and try to keep temps 76-80 in the day, and 70-74 at night
