1:34 for the actual song. I love it! They should have used Debbie's freal voice for Would you. She sounds lovely.

So I guess this is the birth of playback?

@BrownEyedGirl5643 I was born a few months after he died too! I also have a big crush on Gene :-) I don't think it's weird at all! We were just born several decades late. xD

Is it weird that I was born just months after Gene Kelly died and I have a huge crush on him?

@JaaMizzou22 This one was sung by Betty Noyles/Noyes? Read that somewhere very recently.

Debbie is singing "Singin' In the Rain", but was dubbed for "You Are My Lucky Star" because it was out of her range. There is a video of her real voice on YouTube somewhere, and I think it sounded just fine.
I like when they are singign happy to the curtain and raise it

Is this debbie reynolds voice? I know some of the songs (would you and You are my lucky star) weren't actually her singing

@JaaMizzou22 Yes, I'm pretty sure this is her singing! :D

@1960galBSAM No Jaamizzou is right, the ballad song is actually sang by Jean Hagen, ironic isn't it?
