  • are you using a thing from a crossbow

  • @comicman11 ?? no ?? its just a piece of rope with a wooden handle on the end of it made for starting these older engines

  • looks like a briggs

  • but its not, its completly different. google clinton engines. its a clinton model 3100. clinton went out of buisiness in the 60's.

  • Nice, you have the same muffler/rain-cap setup that I have on my old Briggs! Is that some sort of weight you have clipped on the back of the flap?

  • paperclip! helps balence it better for that engine!

  • Never seen such a small engine with an exhaust cap!

  • those engine are unkillable

  • not anymore. it was nice though. i put a nice lowtone muffler off an old briggs on it. it makes it much quieter. it is an abnoctiously loud engine with the clinton style mufflers on it. most clinton mufflers are nothing more than a spark arrestor.

  • Awesome! I'll have to try that with mine since I've been having trouble keeping the flap open when the engine's idling. Thanks!
