This song is loosely based on the true life story of Dolly being locked in the closet by her brothers & sisters she never got over it and still to this day sleeps with a night light on as 'Dolly is afraid of the dark'

Oh my what memories that brought back. My mom used to have me call in to WSM radio when Ralph Emery was on every night and request that song. Being a child, I didnt want anyone to hear me, so I hid in the closet, but came out excited! I got to talk to Ralph Emery! My mom laughed and laughed, my hiding in the closet had been in vain, they put me on the radio! She has heard every word! True story!! Thanks for taking me back to yesteryear!
