The parable of the Lazarus and the Rich Man in Luke 16 is probably one of the most missuderstood Parable of Yahshua from the scriptures. Let scripture interpret scripture instead of fllowing the false traditions of churchianity.

  • @PrincessSyntax NOWHERE IN THE SCRIPTURES DO WE FIND THAT THE HOPE OF THE BELIEVER IS MOVING OUT A LIVE SOUL AT DEATH. THE TRUE HOPE OF THE BELIEVER IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION AT MESSIAH YAHSHUA’S 2ND COMING.

  • @PrincessSyntax 2nd Corinthians 5:9 Because of this, whether present, or absent, we are striving to be pleasing to Him,

1st Thessalonians 5:10 He dying on our behalf, so that whether we are awake or we sleep, we may live together with Him.

1st Corinthians 15:22,23 for as in Adam all die, so also in Messiah all will be made alive. But each in

his own order: Messiah, the firstfruit; AFTERWARD THOSE OF MESSIAH AT HIS COMING.

  • @PrincessSyntax We cannot be ushered into the presence of Yahshua until we are absent from the body, that is, our corruptible house is replaced with a house that is incorruptible. We must experience this change in order to stand in the presence of the Messiah. 1 Corinthians 15:51. Scriptures must harmonize with one another. We are not taught by the Bible that when the body dies the soul moves out into the presence of Yahshua as Paul seems to imply in 2 Corinthians 5:8.

  • @PrincessSyntax The scriptures make very plain that immortality is not given until the return of Yahshua at the first resurrection. I, too, am “willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Master,” but we are not going to be ushered into his presence naked. “if indeed in being clothed, we shall not be found naked.” 2 Corinthians 5:3. We are clothed at the “THE FIRST RESURRECTION.” 1 Corinthians 15:53.

  • @PrincessSyntax Yahshua told his disciples in John 14:3. He would come again and receive them unto himself. IF THEY WENT TO WHERE HE WAS, WHY WOULD HE HAVE TO COME BACK FOR THEM? NO, there is only one way I can ever be with Yahshua, and that is to give up this body.

  • @YahwehsShofar I'm just wondering how you understand II Corinthians 5:8. Isn't a Christian who is absent from the body now at home with the Lord?

  • @ddeeclausius NO!

Not until the 1st Ressurrection at his coming!

Yahshua said in John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Are you going to believe scripture or traditions of men?

  • After Jesus resurrection ,

Mat 27: 51 And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split. 52The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared to many.

So people (saints) who were asleep back then are now with the Lord in Heaven? and whoever died in the Lord is there with the Lord.... right?

  • And the 5 brother that the rich man had, were the 5 jewish sects existing at the time of Yehoshua HaMashiach.
