This is a little video with a sweet poem that I was eMailed. I did not write it and I do not who did. The background music is "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson. I made this video for a school project. *REMINDER: April is Child Abuse awareness and Prevention month! Wear BLUE!

there was a girl named Le Shay her parents beat her and called her names she tried to be what they wanted but it would never work because no matter what she did she'd get hurt she'd be good and she'd be nice so maybe she'll only get one spanking that night her dad would rape her and so would her mom she always new that something would go wrong she'd cry at the site of her sister being killed so she ran to the door outside in the chill her dad found her and took her back to beat and she was me...

that just broke my heart for children to be treatrd so cruelly and worst of all is the child will think it's actuallt something they did wrong for this to come against them that's how i used to feel when i was repeatedly sexually abused i knew obviously this isn't how you show you love but i felt i have done something so bad im being punished i know better now but at the time i was nieve a child so very afraid children if your in this situation please tell someone

This is really said that people would abuse when they wouldn't like it if they did like it effects people in many ways like i use to get abused. and i wanna help people not get abused like the world needs to end abuse people! they need to see how it feels so then they would rethink about what they do.

I read this poem on fanfiction. I have a friend who has some problems with his parents, especially his dad. He told me a little, but never more than needed. I don't know what to do.

I am 20 and had a pretty bad father, but I really hate to see young kids get hurt. Its just not fair to them.
