Sorry for my late response, but your statement is very valid! Certain states are "on the map" because of the talent there, and not because of rappers running guilt trips and complaining. To all performers hopeful of such acclain, just Bring It, Sing It, and the rest will fall into place. Plus, if you just GOTTA be in a state that's "on da map", then please relocate to one that already is. Much respect to those that agree or disagree.
