how did you get the schools permission to bring the puppy in? I am thinking about raising a puppy for one of my local guide dog foundations, and was interested in bringing him/her into my high school (I will be a senior when the time comes) for one of our shorter days, just to get the pup used to the school environment in case it is paired up with a person who is still in school. Thanks

Hey,
your foundation should help you that. I went to our headmaster before we got our puppy and let him know what I was going to do. Then I asked if it would be ok if I brought the puppy to school with me. He agreed to a m-w-schedule. In Florida, dogs in training get the same accommodation as active duty guide dogs.
