I'd rather have the lights and not need them, then need them and not have them. It's not overkill at all. I agree, if you got congested traffic and idiot drivers, you need to be seen, you don't want an accident.

That is hilarious. A 900 series? They are 9" x 7". Should I have put two of those in the grill? My TIR3s are overkill, but I should but 2 900 series up there? Ridiculous. Traffic around here is filled w/ ignorance. They don't know how to move, when to move, of even if they should move. Just the nature of this area I guess, lots of people from other countries that don't understand the rules of the road.

Have you ever tried to push through rush hour traffic in Washington DC? have you even been dispatched to a confirmed still birth and the foreigner in front of you doesn't check their mirrors? Did you try to get up I-95 heading to NYC on 9/11/01 and have to nudge peoples bumpers to get them to yield?

I agree there is a lot of lights on this car. But why is everyone's opinion "whacker, squirrel, tick, dork....overkill" Next to LA, traffic in this area has been documented as the most congested. Every second counts and if I gain 5 seconds, that could mean life vs death.

They come w/ a flange and a mounting "ear"...but that is really it. You may need to fabricate something for your application.
