DESIRE

Freedom is a natural thing to be desired. We as humans are created to think individually for ourselves. It is a born instinct to do what we feel is right and, a parallel conscience runs thru our brains makes us unique. To feel sympathetic for others needs if we have much to share.

To desire something greater than our dreams can be taxing and sometimes its absolutely necessary to risk our lives to achieve that longing.

EDSA revolution was a culmination of all of these. It justifies all the means of risking lives of the people who loves freedom and democracy. Beginning from the time of dictatorial oppression up to the pinnacle point of assassinating a formidable political opponent who became a national figure of peoples thirst to reach for that DESIRE.

I believe that what happened in May 18, 1980 in Gwangju has some parallel DESIRE that we as Filipinos crave for in EDSA revolution back in February 25,1986.
