Whenever you'd consider it mate, they don't make songs like this anymore, there's no such thing as motown anymore and anyone claiming to be a motown artists almost certainly isn't, motown was a scene that was around when it was around, 60's 70's I love all of it. Like I say I'm relatively young I just love all this stuff with all my heart.

Well...motown actually is a genre of a music. I think it got it's name from the record company, Motown. That company just signed a lot of the artists that combined R&B, Pop, and gospel-ish vocals. so you could technically create a motown band now.

No modern day music can EVER compare to music of the 60's, 70's
and 80's!!!!!!!!!! I grew up on Oldies and still listen and enjoy them.

why cant music be as good as this now. why is it that any colored fellow making music is some crap rap, or stupid MCing, this is true music...none of that 'bitches 'n' hoes' bullshit

I think Michael Jackson was one of the last that did not sing about bitches, hoes, gats, bling, & drugs.

I heard this song called "Replay" by Iyaz. It is not bad. You might like it. The song is not your typical moden rap stuff. The guy can sing and is fairly respectful to the ladies.

As for a black female, check out "Battlefield" by Jordin Sparks. You will like that one.

actually i think you'll find that the gun slinging crack dealing backgrounds of black artist, such as 50 cent, is seen to be 'cool' but i think his ancestors would be ashamed...

It is best to stay with the old hits then. The old stuff can never be produced again odd are.  No doubt it is "cool" to sell drugs and do them in their genre.

I can't speak for 50-cent ancestors but isn't he like almost a billionaire of something? I guess he got there by selling drugs and stuff so who knows.

I hate his "music", I know that.
