Alice In Wonderland - jazz piano (with trio) tutorial (High Definition)

Alice In Wonderland - jazz piano (with trio) lesson.
I used the wonderful bass and drums backing created by the Real Tracks option in 'Band in a Box'
This song is a good vehicle to work on by players of all levels. Its harmony works in much the same way as Autumn Leaves - which is often the first tune tackled by pianists new to jazz. And there are lots of re-harmonisation possibilities.
I have recorded a separate solo piano version with transcription that is on my DVD http://www.bushgrafts.com/jazz/DVDbuy.htm
Also on the DVD is a printable version of this piano solo, and an MP3 file of the bass and drums backing track.

I play in the keys that are the 'standard' keys for the songs - unless I am accompanying a singer of course.

I love that key too - but unlike guitar players I would call it Db Major!
