@hiqwertyhi Not saying there is, after all I am a huge fan of the Manics, The Smiths and Joy Division, and I rate This Is Hardcore as Pulp's best album.
I'm just saying that some people think all of Radiohead's songs are dreary yet this one is hugely uplifting.

@devtherevLS nothing wrong with depressing songs.

You know, for all the times people dismiss Radiohead as whiny and depressing, this has to be one of the most uplifting songs I've ever heard. When I listen to it I always feel so alive, like I'm on top of the world and nothing can stop me feeling the greatness.

@HappyHitokiri SERIOUSLY

I like that most of Radiohead's songs are dark or deal with challenging subject matter. Because then, when you hear a Radiohead song like this, it's so much more uplifting.

This album is actually really good. Too bad it was overshadowed by "Creep."

I own a marketing company and "STOP WHISPERING, START SHOUTING" is our company tagline...Cheers Radiohead!
We're from Oxford too - so even cooler!!
God i love this band :)

Says Pablo Honey:
"You creep, how do you stop whispering? Thinking about you, anyone can play guitar. Ripcord! Vegetable! Prove yourself!"
"I can't; [I've got] lurgee."
"Blow out! [Idiot]."
