Get the hell outta there, the place is gonna blow! ***Cue massive epic miniturised explosions***

I found this by chance whilst watching Goldeneye on DVD a couple of days ago. (Scene where the three russian fighter pilots are running out of the base)

Using 5.1 diffusion by recording only from the rear channels, I was able to get a crystal clear recording of the sound of which I'll be putting in the next Cinesound update replacing the original muddy recordings of the same sound. By far my most favourite sound effect. ;)

You will not find an alarm like this in ANY sound effects library of today. :)

This alarm was used in:

The Heros of Telemark - 1965
Thunderbirds - 1966 - 02x01 - Atlantic Inferno
Thunderbirds - 1966 - 02x06 - Give or take a million

There's probably a lot more films it was featured in. It's such a distinctive sound so you cannot possibly miss it. ;)

    I just heard this on a Hundai commercial. Wouldn't be surprised if they used it after finding it from your archive recovery

    @thebladezmanII

    I don't suppose you'd be able to pinpoint which ad it was or maybe upload a copy please? (Also, did you mean Hyundai?)

    Just found it

    2012 Hyundai Azera "Talk to My Car" - Oscar Commercial

    This is amazing. Even though it's just a second of the sound, it's been around 12 years since it was actually used commercially and it's just resurfaced out of nowhere. It begs the question to asked as to wether they used my sample or if they somehow obtained the master.

    Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention.

    You realize that klaxon was from TOS which was again used from many navy movie alert sounds (not sure if real navy vessels used that alert). And nothing beats the Motion PIctures Red Alert klaxon which surpasses them all.
