Composed by Dan Hartman and Charlie Midnight and performed by James Brown (Hartman also provided backing vocals). It was prominently featured in the film Rocky IV. In the film, Brown sings the song before Apollo Creed enters the boxing ring, Difficult to pickout the bass guitar from the synth bass on the original track but this is how i'd play it. I believe the man responsible for the bassline was Ray Brundidge, a player Brown always used when any slap was required. Enjoy
