@gypsy505nm I don't think so...this was back in the late '80s. Charlie developed throat cancer in 2004, but is thankfully 100% better.
He probably didn't show up either because (a) he's too shy to be around all the accolades, or (b) he was still recovering from his brief stint with drugs in the '80s.
Either way, I'm just so happy they're all still with us, and hopefully they'll do some shows to celebrate 50 years!

@keefriff99 Charlie had a Cancer, believe it was around this time..that's why Charlie was almost bald..for quite awhile, YES a CLASSY MAN!! and HE BEAT IT~!!! IS now the ROLLING STONES 50th. ANNIVERSARY..2012

Mick Taylor is one of the most underrated guitarists in the history of rock'n'roll.
I love Ronnie's attitude and humor, but I oftentimes wish that Mick had never left the band...he's just a monumental talent.
