@201andrew as the title says, it's an ILS approach onyl. So they maybe didn't use the autopilot and landed manually :)

ils is sometimes leisure, when pilots r really tired to do it manually

@jpilot101 Thank you for that information. That was my son posting before. I don't come here very often and he ask me a lot of question that he post on this site. I have never been to Australia, love to go. As a retired 747-400 driver and over 40y of flying behind me I often wonder why I never made it down south. Wish you a lot of happy flying down south and my daughter is flying into New Zeeland in a few week.

@CaptainArt777 In Australia only major airports have ils facilities, hence why VFR pilots mainly use visual approaches low visibility conditions.

@jpilot101 Not True. Where do you get your info? When able, most pilots will always come in on the ILS, or use it for guidance. Even in VFR conditions.

aujourd'hui il fait sec, demain il pleut, après-demain la neige etc tu vois :D
On a jamais une semaine tranquille, tu n'a qu'à regarder hier et avant-hier.
Hier il pleuvait la blinde et avant-hier on avait un peu de répit, juste du vent xD
