I agree with Skintrade. Why is there always comments on every Genesis posting, arguing who was better - Peter or Phil, as vocalists! Sad twats who have nothing better to do. Just enjoy Genesis in all its might!

One of Genesis' best. Shows that as long as Hackett was in the group, they were great, regardless of vocalist.

@Laserkev Thanks for your offer! I wouldn't mind listening to the whole version of that boot, but I'd be sorry to have you taking the trouble, also because I already have an older version of that gig. Full concerts and great Genesis music are always welcome anyway :)

The rawness of their sound is insane. Nothing like the Studio version lushness. More Lamb-sy ruggedness, and basically the same setup also.

@RadDudeski69 I think it's from 20th jan 1977 southampton in a house of dreams boot, can't remember tho.

@Laserkev Thank you for the info. I compared this to the boot from Southampton I have and you're totally correct. This sounds upgraded and that must be why I didn't recognise it right away!
