I used to play this all the time, when I was younger. Great days!

Epic game. Still lovin it.

I am sat with the guy (Doug Mathews) who designed the game all those years ago for Goliath Games. He is quite amazed that people can still remember the game and are still talking about it! He also did 'The Double' for Commodore.

Used to play this on the Spectrum. :) Thanks for the memories.

Nigel Spackman - the name still makes me LOL. My mate Richard Thompson used to think he was one of the greatest players in the world at primary school. Spackman, not Richard.

Won the World Cup several times with West Germany... was funny how there was no age check so I got a few cups in a row, players should be 60 years old by then, lol... And no, no crazy graphics haha

It was sooo difficult to qualify to the World Cup with Hungary because the players were weak back then, just like nowadays :-(

I owned this game on the ZX Spectrum and played it for hours each day. My brother managed a West German team whose goalie could never be beaten!
