Tests reveal a lower temp setting is required for optimal brewing on a Bunn ES-1A. The machine has been lowered from 253F to 238F. Big differences in behavior & cup results.

  • I believe this exercise applies to all HX espresso machines, not just the Bunn ES-1A. Techs are setting the boiler temps too high when they adjust them to 1 to 1.3 bar pressure.

    BTW: That's a nice looking shot!
