On March 8, 2004 aspiring freeskier and coach, Josh Dueck, awoke from a ski crash to realize life would never be the same. Paralyzed from the waist down, josh made a decision to make the best of a horrible situation. The result is one of the most inspiring stories we've ever seen.

    this is the best story ever. I suffered a t-12 compression fracture in march 08 they gave me a 50/50 chance of loosing my ability to walk again. I fought it hard tooth and nail. After a lot of fighting and struggling to gain normalcy again I am still on my feet thank God. Now I am back skiing. When you get thrown down you get back in the saddle again! Your story is truly inspiring, and brought me to tears keep rocking your FREEDOM CHAIR!

    I'm a C5 Quad and just discovered my hero for real! Dude quickly rolled life's elbow to the nuts like a fucking BOSS!! I'm inspired to keep my daily grind after witnessing this dudes hunger for his life long passion! Keep kicking ass and those 9 haters would hide from your own shadow in his shoes cowards..Learn from people like this and feel God's purpose for tragedy in life's deck of cards. This guy gets it!!!
