Mario Kart Virtual Cup (Nintendo Virtual Boy Homebrew)

Here's a Mario Kart game created by DogP ( http://projectvb.vze.com ) for the Nintendo Virtual Boy.

It currently has 3 tracks (Mario Circuit, Ghost House, and Rainbow Road), 8 characters, and plays Time Trial mode. It was submitted for the Planet Virtual Boy Coding Competition ( http://www.vr32.de ), but development will continue.

This video shows most of the highlights and features of the game, and I cut out some of the repetitive parts (and sorry about the annoying horizontal flicker from the camera), but you can download the ROM and play it yourself (as well as the ROMs of other contest entries) from the forum at http://www.vr32.de . It works fine in the Reality Boy emulator, although there isn't sound support, so it is best played on a flash cartridge in the Virtual Boy.

Give me a thumbs if you agree. The programming is good but the audio sounds migraine-giving. Like at the start when someone said ''Mario Kart Virtual Cup'', (0:18) the 8-bit sounds made it sound annoying. The turning sound also hurts my ears. I like the gameplay, I just don't think the audio is pleasant.
