I've done the Fn+F6 and the webcam still doesn't come on :/ I just won this netbook today at a raffle and can't set up the webcam :( HELP PLEASEE

IT'S NOT A HARD DRIVE!!! THAT'S A ROM DRIVE!!! Sorry...the computer geek is poking its ugly head out, lol. A rom drive and a hard drive are 2 completely different things.

You mean how to turn it on? Ok, just do this:
-Press Fn+F6 (While holding Fn press F6)
-Go to my computer and find Web Cam

Sorry, I can't directly answer your question. Though the video and audio may seem out of sync, it has nothing to do with the MSi Wind itself. It was the software which caused the problem. I never fixed it because i prefer using my Mac's webcam but i can assure you that if you used Windows Live Massager or any well constructed piece of software like that it will work!

I had trouble at first but it turns out that it is really easy.
What you do is you find the camera icon on the keyboard. It should be in blue on the F6 key. Then just hold down Fn while you press F6 and an icon should be displayed on the screen to suggest whether the camera is turned on or not. This method also has to be used to turn on bluetooth and wifi.

Yes i am using the MSi wind mic however i believe it is the program that is causing the lag not the msi wind itself. Sorry about that!
