Also, I just realized, that last comment makes 81, so this one will make it an even number again... that was close...

Really interesting story. Makes me think about the nature of thought and how you can forget things for long periods of time but still have them affect you psychologically. I watched this probably two years ago for the first time. A year and a half ago I had to write a short story for school, and I chose to go with something very similar to Stephen King's style. I swear, this story never crossed my mind while I was writing mine, but I still had that same image of a smiling black figure.

Anyone else catch this cold, this obsession? I did, and do every time I read or see this

Love King's nod to Lovecraft's Cthulu mythos. CTHULU + N= CTHUN. N? Hmm ...a V plus an upside down V connected. V is equal to 6? 66 is the number of fallen angels spoken of in the occult Kaballa? The watchers at the gate? Sorry....couldn't help going OCD after watching this. 8 is great....LOL.

@Jabels86 I wasn't too thrilled about this one, either. I also wasn't toothrilled with the "helmet-head" Cthun in the novella. Oh, well. The point is that it is supposed to be at least a little frightening. :)

read the novella, its really good. i think these videos worked more as a visual to the story, but as a stand-alone story it was kind of dry. it makes more sense if you've read the book (which is very very very good :])
