Judy Garland was amazing.
So much talent.
Too bad it all ended like it did.

Begeal & Fields..Judy's business managers and accoutants and bookeepers..they S-! her out of her funds and left her at the mercy of the law and the bill collectors. She was broke and angry and I wouldn't blame her..they took advantage of her..but they didn't get their cumuppance from the law..until long after she was gone.

@italoman9 Couldn't agree more. That's just the world we live in, you mess up and your in the headlines as a horrible person or a person who chooses those roads... Which I know not to be true, we are all the same in many ways, and all have problems especially the personal problems that we all face in our lives, the fact is, we are all our own and different in many ways as well, and we each face circumstances, situations, and life from a standpoint far unique from one another.... etc etc etc LIFE

The best biography is Gerald Clarke's Judy.

I hate that they try to make her into this sad Cinderella tragic figure when she was not , I'll always remember her as a funny amazing woman/singer not this tragic person when you think about aren't we all at the end of the day tragic and that crap of the rainbow , and getting over it she had her demons we all do lets not exaggerate them. Her children admit she was anything but tragic.

I bet the abortion she was forced into change her life forever. Still, she was a true star and nothing could take away her talent.

She was a beautiful person, imagine if she had been aborted, the world would not never hear her voice and her beautiful face.

Judy was under the influence during most of these tape recordings and very angry. She had every right to be mad and Since her Father passed away, evil entities came into her life. Judy's own daughters turned their backs on their mother knowing she was in trouble. Poeple like Lorna and Gerald Clarke capitalized on this Great legend's name. Lorna's movie had so many discrepancies.Liza made it on her own and has talent where Lorna only complained about her being the middle child etc.
I'm tired of hearing all the "bad stuff" about Judy. There were so many good memories, talent, achievements, success, and worldwide good experiences, too, I bet.. On another recent post, there's a great interview piece where Judy just is so a regular person, but in a positive sense reflects on herself and her everyday-type-person belief in religion and faith. She wasn't tragic: she was a human being, like we all are always.
