Pony Excess is the Final 30 for 30 ESPN film directed by Thaddeus D. Matula. This is the story of Dallas in the 1980's and the greed, power and corruption that spilled from the oil field onto the SMU football field. A cautionary tale from the 1980s that is truly relevant in today's world of payouts from agents to college football players.

Watch the final installment on ESPN on Saturday, December 11 at 9pm ET

It's the NCAA. Do you really think they didn't get something for not suspending Pryor from the Sugar Bowl, or dealing with Reggie Bush four years after he left USC? The NCAA has their favorites, and anyone who tried to join their old-boys network (SMU football, UNLV basketball) get punished.

  • @wesmitch100 you said it right ALL SCHOOLS CHEAT!!!

  • i wanna buy this doc!

  • Great Documentary!!!

  • @TartarKid Nah, they just got awful at cheating.

If you're gonna pay for someone, pay for someone good!

  • @Nbuck55 the NCAA castrates programs for "cheating" yet the entire NCAA administration and practice is built on cheating and robbing not only student athletes but spectators also. the NCAA does not practice any kind of morals...the only reason players take money is because they need it...the NCAA takes money for other reasons....its the tea pot calling the kettle black when the NCAA tries to take programs to task.

  • @getyoasshome i fail to understand what that has to do w/ what i said, you're going to have to be more specific.

  • @Nbuck55 and what are administrations doing????? last i checked the NCAA makes billions off of athletes...how much are they making off of academic scholars??

  • @getyoasshome i would agree w/ you but i fundamentally disagree w/ the legitimacy of the NCAA, so in my mind no one is cheating, they are actively disregarding bad rules, which is your moral obligation when presented w/ unethical standards.

  • @getyoasshome Like they said, if you're going to cheat, you'd better be good at it.

  • It's awesome seeing all these local sports personalities....

Dale, Norm, Brad Sham, Randy Galloway....
