Vagabond is my favorite Manga.It is based on Eiji Yoshikawa's novel Musashi. I love the illustrations of Inoue Takehiko, if you want to see him drawing then watch the DVD ''Draw''. I have not found it yet but i saw some parts at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=irHZ7ILxxWk

i'm a big fan of Inoue sensei art,

0:56 = insane sumi painting !!

Inoue designs his work in this order.

1. Pencils shapes then connects them to more details slowley and then he shades in all the dark spots.

2. He carefully inks everything with hin paint brush tries not to mess up.

3. Lets the picture get dry and then erases all the pencil marks.

4. Finally he starts to paint using indian ink.
