She dont ring true to me one tiny bit, she wanted what jim had with freddie. I bet she was very bitter and jelious of Jim Hutton, prob why she gave him 3 months to leave freddies home.. No way she was pleased with the love of her life being in a relationship with another man..

Jim was a true gent he had freddies love, which was worth more than any mansion in kensington and all the millions she waited 8 years for.. I doubt money has brought her piece...

@11truthnine False. Mary Austin was the love of Freddie Mercury's life. Everyone knows that. She met him before he was famous and stayed with him until the day he died. Jim was cool, but I don't think he could ever compete with Mary.

Freddie had only one regret in his life (according to Freddie himself)...that he didn't marry her. She was the real Love of his life and the only one person he trust and the only real friend/best friend till the end.

@Ericboom I'd be very surprised if she were dead, as I've been following any Queen and Freddie news pretty closely. At least if anything happened to her, no one would have known, since she's been a very very private person. So, sounds like an urban legend.

@MaryWaterton: Oh shut up. Freddie was bisexual and just lived his life. Mary and Freddie were forever regardless of who he was with. Freddie was just the type of guy who didn't settle. In an interview he said that she will always be his true love and no one can ever compare. I don't think Mary blamed Freddie for anything or had any sort of animosity towards him. And FYI it can be a choice, but biologically speaking you can be born that way. So I wouldn't get into this conversation without facts

@Allante715 Freddie didn't get aids because of jim, he had lots of lovers before him, actually, freddie passed him the disease. Mary was freddie's true love, Jim was just his last lover, who stayed with him till he died
