  • Dude I wish I had a drummer. My computer is my drummer, and don't get me wrong, it's a great drummer, but it's kind of an asshole. LOL.

  • That sound is brutal man! I'm saving up for SD 2.0 and Metal Foundry!

  • I got it to work, so never mind! it's great. GO BUY IT.

  • Uh...I got mine today for Christmas with The Metal Foundry...it isn't showing up. Only Superior 2, and DKFH are showing up in Solo...so disappointed. Oh my god man. There is also no help at the Toontrack website.

  • BLEEEEEDD!!!

    love that song :D

Oh and these are pretty much the best drum samples ever made for metal music. Combine the MF cymbals and toms with the bass drum and snare from the Steven Slate samples and you're good to go lol.

  • This ad is so Gay!

  • @wastedwithin Well, I have been in multiple jams with drummers and seen how they tick, so my drum programming has become more and more accurate to reflect certain drummers' abilities. The thing is, my computer is really bad...Superior 2 takes up so much CPU on this hunk o' junk. XD

  • @Demonstray0 If you've never worked with a drummer before than take my advice, your better off with your computer, lol.

  • I like the metal kits from DFH and all of that opposed to the regular. Even in the lighter music (they sound more pop without heavy guitars). I just like a quicker snap to my percussion than a drawn out room reverb.

  • The best drum samples for metal music... Superior 2 is good, but it IS NOT THAT SUITED FOR METAL

My bet is MF will be poor choice for milder music, but hey, the name is METAL FOUNDRY for a reason.

I found Superior 2 to be lacking compared to BFD2 when it comes to heavy stuff, but MF is simply N1.

The only thing it lacks is a sub kick/ bass boom / dive type of samples which are pretty modern these days. No harm done however, the effect can still be achieved through processing...

    Worth ever $
