New Year 2009

Just a quick update about what's going on with me this week.

By the way, I didn't eat the mochi...changed my mind. You're supposed to keep it until the second weekend of the year, so I won't eat it until then. ^_^ I made udon instead.

Yeah I love mochi too. All I've had so far are restaurant and conbini versions so I wanna try fresh mochi sometime.

I love mochi! It's just a matter of chewing it enough. My family and I just made mochi for new years.

Flying back to the US is expensive, so I'll probably hold off until summer vacation in August. I don't usually notice the stress except when I realize I don't have too many friends here.  ^_^;

Whoa really? You should help me find the New Year Gloomy Bear. I couldn't find one there...didn't find very many crane machines, much to my surprise. Are there really so few? I expected more. Maybe next time I want to win something I'll go to Shinjuku.  -_-;
