Angry Birds on Rooted Nook Touch

After getting root access on the nook touch, what is the first thing I do with it? Why, install Angry Birds of course!

Unfortunately, it's not exactly playable. It tends to flash a lot, and anything that's animated looks like crap. And worst of all, it can't handle the screen scrolling when you actually send the bird flying, it just hangs there and then finally updates after things have settled back down.

@SuperFerz: wrong. the s3c6410 does have a graphics accelerator. The issue isn't graphics acceleration, but rather the eink controller and the eink screen itself. They aren't designed to display big moving pictures. There has been some experimental success doing video on an eink screen (with this particular eink screen actually), but the technology to do that isn't out there and available to use.

@JFreke, I don't know if you've seen the Kobo Touch in action. The refresh rate seems to be much beetter than the B&N. A rooted Kobo would be great to install Kindle, B&N and Kobo apps natively in android. I dream of a universal e-ink reader. Even the touch screen seems to be more responsive in the Kobo. I hope you or someone can follow in your footsteps to do the same with the Kobo Touch.
