I shot this video today with my new Canon PowerShot SX10IS digital camera. The conditions here wasn't the best. As you can see it wasn't a clear afternoon due to blowing dirt from the wind. Living in the desert doesn't help that.

Anyhow, I'm using my Canon SX10IS camera that has a Hoya 52mm UV filter attached to the lens via the threads available. I also have the lens hood attached. I'm using a Panasonic 4GB SDHC class 6 memory card. Hope you enjoy the video!

    and an awesome camcorder

    i wish i owned one

    all i have is a nikon d90

  • Yes, I have the SX10. The SX1 is the camera you're referring to. Both were released at the same time, but the SX1 is/was not available in the USA. I hadn't heard about a US release anytime soon so I went with SX10. There's supposed to be quite a cost difference too.

  • you have this camera already?

cuz there's a rumor that a better powershot sx will become to the usa

with full 1920 by 1080 video

    full hd

  • Can you give me more details? I understand Lensmate is going to come out with some kind of adapter. I signed on to their "interested" list a couple of months ago, but haven't heard anything yet. Is there another option? Thanks in advance for any help!

  • yes

  • Sorry! This post should have follwed the post by Desafinado30. See question below.

  • No. Camera manufactures still don't understand that there is a BIG demand for a professional quality pocket camera with a great distortion free lens, USABLE ISO at 1600 a hot shoe, and a threaded lens for filters , etc. Many pros (including my wife) would love one for a backup. Also, many serious amateurs do not want to lug around all the weight and lenses of an SLR. The technology is there but the manufacturers want everyone to buy an SLR.

  • I think you may be right. I saw another upload on a camera review page and it looked much better. Something must have happened during your upload. Good luck with the camera.
