Percabeth Story: Tongue Tied. Ep. 3 *Description Box*

I got home and I found my mom sitting at the kitchen table. She quickly saw me and asked what happened, I told her everything—well, except for the kiss thing. It wasn't really important.

"So what do you think?" I finally said.

I could tell my mom was nervous and uncomfortable, she wasn't looking at me. Instead she was looking at the glass of water in front of her.

She sighed. "I don't know, Percy. Do you think that Annabeth was really there?"

"I know it's impossible. But—"

"She's at San Francisco, honey." She said.

"Yeah, but—"I stopped there. It WAS impossible. But I could think of a possibility, but I was too afraid to think it was true.

My mom was really uncomfortable now, I could tell. She was tapping the table with her fingers.
"Is there something you're not telling me?" I asked.

"Of course not honey, why would you think that?" She answered.

"I know you mom." I said.

Before she could answer the kittle at the stove whistled. And that basically ended our conversation. I went to bed early, I was exhausted. I really didn't know why, and before I knew it my eyes closed.
Then I started to dream. In my dream I saw that Annabeth WAS there, but she was invisible. Thanks to her Yankees cap her mother gave her. She was walking towards us, but she suddenly stopped. She was me and Amanda kissed. Well technically, she kissed me. There's a big difference. But Annabeth didn't know that.

"Percy." She whispered, and then looked away.

She obviously didn't stick around to hear what Amanda said, because she ran away. She was hurt. She wasn't my girlfriend, but all I know is last summer, she shows a mutual feeling with me. Now I feel really bad and of course misunderstood.

Annabeth's POV
I was leaning at the side of my window in my dad's car, still to mad to even speak. I keep remembering what I just saw. Percy, he kissed that... that red headed girl. Last time I called, he didn't mention he had a girlfriend. So much for visiting first then going to Camp Half-Blood, It was around 7:50. I didn't care, I just wanted to go to Camp Half-Blood now. I sighed.

"Annabeth," My dad said. "What really happened back there?"

When my dad asked, I was already boiling with anger. But I breathed deeply, I figure he should know. He was my dad after all.

"Percy has a girlfriend." I said.

"Oh." He said. "He told you?"

"No." I was controlling my anger. "He didn't have to tell me. Obviously he didn't want to. I saw him kissing a girl."

"Did you saw who kissed who?"

"No. But it doesn't matter, dad." I was really angry now. "They kissed. The end"

"I thought he like—"he started to say.

I cut him off. "Yeah, well, I guess not."

I know what he was going to say: I thought he likes you. I sighed. It was silent for a while.

Then he finally said. "You should know first what really happened before you assume something, Annabeth."

Well, darn. That was really a smart thing to say, but I was really mad to even think about that.

"Sure dad, whatever." I said sarcastically.

"Being the daughter of Athena, that would probably a smart thing to do."

I snapped. "Can we NOT talk about this anymore?!" I crossed my arms.

My dad put his hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry, Annabeth."

I didn't answer. I knew he was. After that we drove in silence.
