these heads sound amazing but from my experience with these heads ive noticed that the black stripes start to come off after a week

They sound good but ... damn they're homely. I had the original EC2s and got these when it was time to reskin my kit and the new ones clutter up the kit. Wish they had made them look more clean and less obtrusive.
