This... is awful.
Even as an atheist, this makes me cringe. I understand the idea of payback for religious folks burning books, but really, book burning? The sign of the anti-intellectual right? The rallying cry of every moron claiming that Darwin is worthless and Harry Potter causes satanists?
Ew.
Or maybe it's my desire to be a librarian speaking.

Maybe he needed to get warm and all he had was spiritual texts. Poor guy, no wonder he's so angry.

Keep in mind that the Nazis burned text that they didn't like.

That's not a real quran, unless it has the arabic quran text in it. If it's just an english translation with no arabic, it's not the quran, it's just a translation.

Doubt is a great thing. However, if we start out by saying everything is wrong we block ourselves just as if we said everything is right. Perhaps there is something in everything, even those books, that can lead one to a better life. Furthermore, perhaps its up to us to discern this "truth", as it were. It would be more impressive if you read them all then burned them.

@TexasAggie2013 How are you so certain? You sit there so smug thinking you are on the high ground but your not. You have just as much evidence as I do. The difference is that I have nothing to loose and you have everything.

@chadpratch There is no hell. Telling me that is like telling me that Santa will bring me coal if I'm naughty

I know I wouldn't say anything....I wouldn't even exist when I am dead. I wont get a new body and spawn to another dimension called "Hell" to burn forever. That idea is beyond ridiculous.
-
@Serpent541 you won't be saying that when your dead
-
Too bad Hell is a fictional place.
