@TheBlazeAG Because they don't make today's wrestlers like they used to

Blood doesn't make great wrestling, but it does add to the effect of the hardcore matches. When they announce an ambulance match, or I quit match now, i think that match will be slow, boring, uneventful and poor quality. Back in those days you used to get excited about what they would do to each other and how much blood there would be, what spots they would do. I prefer a singles match in nowadays WWE to a I quit match ect.

That was Eddie's real blood, I have the dvd of this ppv and in the extras it had a post match extra of Eddie getting his head cleaned and getting stitches
-
its well known that eddie bladed right here.

@KayDee1232 Yeah the sound of the chair shot was sickening. But did you see the damage done to the chair after Undertaker hit Lesnar with it?
-
@undisputed4life I think the hardy's chair shots on Lesnar should be number one, they put everything they had into those shots, and Lesnar stayed on his feet.
-
today we can only dream that this will happen

@TheBlazeAG Not to mention that the U.S. government is already watching over what WWE is doing after the 2007 Benoit incident. The government increase their watchdog over the WWE.

@dero1975 Don't be an elitist. Blood and swearing doesn't make great wrestling. Your logic discredits the likes of Randy Savage, Ricky Steamboat, Andre, and all the other legends. It's good to have audacity when it comes to making angles, but there comes a point when you're just trying to hard to create shock value. The Attitude Era was fun, but they're not going back to that, so deal with it. They'd only lose more wrestlers who wouldn't willing to put up with the work schedule and damage.
