We are living under the New Covenant so we enjoying the New Heavens and New Earth of the New Creation as New Creatures created and renewed in the knowledge and image of Jesus Christ and our dwelling place is within the New Jerusalem as the New People living the New way of Life. • If the truth is spoken, but the people think they can invent their own truth can they hear you? I hope so, keep the spirit you are right on.

  • Rev 15:2b "They held harps given them by God 3and sang the song of Moses the servant of God AND the song of the Lamb: "Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages. 4Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed."

(cont...) David writes Psalms while being chased and persecuted by Israel and wicked men abusing God's name = Jesus quotes and fulfills Psalms by being betrayed by his own people. David doesn't strike down Saul as God's anointed king = Jesus doesn't abolish the Law but rather fulfills it as true High Priest from David's tribe and not Levi, the anointed Priest. Saul had a hard heart and David heart after God's = Law written on stone but Law written on hearts of flesh...

(cont). God gives us a living, fleshed-out manifestation of what the Law would look like if it were a person against another person that would look and act like the powers of the New Covenant (the better one). Saul was King = Law was Authority. Saul disobeys God = People under Law weak to demons and idols. Saul rejects David as King and thus rejects God = Jesus generation under Law reject him and thus reject God.

Yes, absolutely! Saul is figurative of the Old Covenant and David of the New. Saul is figurative of those faithless Jews that persecute(d) faithful people such as the prophets, apostles and the Christ (also Jews). Saul is just as figurative of the circumstances of 30-70 AD as Hagar was of BOTH the Covenant, City and Persecutors of the righteous in Galatians 4:19ff. David represents life and being chased/persecuted by evil men. David and Jesus were rejected yet STILL KING.

  • Eternal life is a present reality but the nations being led by fools are looking the other way inventing their own false version of what has been freely given to them, how sad. The old saying "you would lie if the truth sounded better" fits the entire religious world. I pray for a catalyst that causes a great awakening someday, the sooner the better.
