German trailer for the canadian B-Movie New York 1991 (a.k.a. Night Warriors, Siege, Self Defense). Directed by Paul Donovan and Maurel O'Connel
Starring: Doug Lennox, Tom Nardini, Brenda Bazinet, Darel Haeny, Terry-David Despres, Jack Blum, Keith Knight, Jeff Pustil

The german title suggests that the movie take place in the future of New York in 1991 (the film is from 1982, maybe to put the film in the direction of postapocalyptic movies like Mad Max which were popular at the time) but it's clearly Halifax, Canada.
*****************************************************
The announcement of a legal police strike results in vigilante forces taking law and order into their own hands. One particular group, a militant squad known as "The New Order", take advantage of the strike to annihilate any group that does not conform to their believes.
In a senseless raid on a homosexual club, they murder the owner, and systematically assassinate all witnesses, except one.
This lone man leads The New order to a small apartment where the tenants become targets in a bizarre game of search and destroy. (from the old Nordstar Home Video Tape).

  • well shoot, i wanna see this now especially knowing you 'recommended' it! (i love over 90% of the vids on your channel)

1983? the picture was so good i thought it WAS made in 1991. this looks really cool and the soundtrack sounds freaking awesome

  • @Crossing3084 the trailer is from a bootleg of the film and strangley it has a 100% better picture than the film itself (luckily i've got a old vhs-tape of the film with a watchable quality). It's a relly nice low-budget flick from the 80's, a bit like Carpenter's Assault on precinct 13.

  • This movie is awesome. I watched it back in the 1980's on SuperChannel when it was known as "Siege".
