this is a tutorial on how to play with your empire when you aren't playing them, for this you need 2 empires close to each other, there are steps going through on what to do so you can do it too, it's just like sims, you can talk to another family without playing them

I've heard it corrupts your saved games. Is it true? Or has it happened to you?

@cocogloriabz not at all mate, it doesn't do 1 thing to your saved game, if you befriend your empire, when you load that empire, the other empire you played before will still be unknown, don't worry about it

It will be corrupted if the other saved game gets attacked or if there is an eco disaster, because you can only use your scanning tool on their planets. Then you can't prevent the eco disaster, so the ecosystem collapses, so the other saved game gets corrupted.

@Tho1518 true, but that means that you won't be able to have to space empires beside each other, or just don't ally each other, yes i see what you mean
