@jaywalker512 ah, okay...thanks.
-
volume/level pots are usually, if not always, logarithmic...because supposedly the human ear interprets the intensity of a sound wave differently than a distorted sound wave....or something like that.

wow your schematic is pretty simple and sounds great! i built a clone of the wooly mammoth.

@jaywalker512 and where exactly do i put the pedal in the circuit and the gain and level pots like before the resistance or after the resistance

Dude, i made this pedal a few weeks ago according to your design, it sounds amazing, great and cheap, cool guitar pedal. Do you have more sucesful designs?
JDCguitarFan 1 week ago
@JDCguitarFan I'm glad you like the pedal. Unfortunately I haven't made any other designs :/

hi dude got some questions before i create my own kind of this:
for power supply: what do u mean by V+ and V+/2?
can you redraw this schematic? i dunno where to put my switch, pots, and that SINE (0 100mV 80). im totally confused now. please make another schematic with clearer symbols. i really want this tone compared to other DIY's but ur schematic is more harder to read for me i guess..
sorry for my english dude. hope u can help me.

@bhorj24 V+ is the main power supply (9v), V+/2 is half of that. The SINE marker is just used for the simulator, but that's where your guitar input goes.

i have one question, what'd the difference between the fat and skinny settings? is it treble vs. base or something? or high vs. low gain? or what?
ARMYStrongHOOAH17 3 months ago
@ARMYStrongHOOAH17 The fat position allows more bass through the clipping circuit, giving a "fatter" sound.
