  • I was at this game. I always loved it when the North Stars came to town. They had cool jerseys with a great logo. This was Mark Messier's last game as an Oiler.

  • @terc73 and the fall of the Oilers dynasty continued

  • Thanks for posting were did you get this?

  • @jayhawk88z i got this off of Google Videos and used a video downloader to get it onto my computer.

  • don't mean to sound like an smartass, but the description you do realize the final series between Pitt. and Minn. went to six games not five?

  • @Gphazor thanks for letting me know! I checked and you were right, so I changed the description.

  • The North Stars finished that season 27-39-14, only good for 16th overall, but who would've guess that they'd upset the top 2 teams( Chicago & St. Louis )in the 1st 2 rounds, then knock off the defending Cup champion Oilers, & THEN win 2 of the 1st 3 games in the Finals vs Pittsburgh. After that, the North Stars finally ran out of gas & lost in 6, but what an incredible playoff run they made!

  • @jayhawk88z That might have been true on paper, but they obviously ran out of gas to the younger and faster North Stars.Let's not forget either that Jon Casey was red hot with the exception of Game 2 when Edmonton indeed blew them out.

  • @landrykkb Edmonton should have decimated the North Stars

  • @jayhawk88z As I recall,Jari Kurri either went back to his native Finland or somewhere in Europe to play hockey during this season.I also believe he wasn't sure at this point that he'd return to the NHL or not,but he signed with the L.A. Kings the following season.

  • @landrykkb In the 91 playoffs if Edmonton wood have had Jari Kurri and Randy Gregg it wood have helped there offence tremendously.

  • @industrialsun Edmonton Rangers LOL
